STANDARDS

What happens between guests

The part of the visit nobody sees. How the room is reset, how tools are handled, and the standards we do not move on.

  • Fresh linens every guest
  • Single-use where it matters

The standards we keep

A calm room is easy to photograph and hard to maintain. What follows is what actually happens in the gap between one guest leaving and the next arriving, written down so you can hold us to it.

Resetting the room

Linens, towels and headbands are changed for every guest without exception — nothing is reused because it looks unused. The bed, headrest, trolley and any surface touched during a session are cleaned before the next person comes in. The schedule leaves room for this; we would rather run a little behind than shorten it.

Tools and implements

Anything single-use is genuinely single-use and is disposed of in front of you at the end. Reusable implements are cleaned and stored properly between uses, and a tool that cannot be cleaned to that standard is not kept in the studio at all.

Product handling

Product is decanted into a clean dish for each guest rather than taken repeatedly from a shared jar, and nothing that has touched skin goes back into a container. Open dates are tracked, and anything past its usable life is discarded even when there is plenty left in the bottle.

Hands, and when we stay home

Hands are washed before and after every session, and gloves are used wherever a service calls for them. Anyone on the team who is unwell does not work — that is a standing instruction, not a judgement call made on a busy morning. We ask the same of guests: if you are not well, move your appointment and we will not make it awkward.

Patch checks and record keeping

Some services call for a small patch check before the session proper; where that applies we will tell you at consultation and arrange it. What was used on you, and anything you told us to avoid, is written into your notes so the next visit starts from what we already know.

If something is not right

Tell us, during or after — a room that is too cold, pressure that is too firm, a product that does not feel right on your skin. Nothing about saying so is difficult for us, and we would far rather hear it than not.
