Korean Glow Facial in Kuala Lumpur
The session guests book before a wedding, a shoot or a long-awaited dinner. Light refinement, a slow massage and a luminous finish — the Korean idea that light should sit evenly on skin.
- About 75 minutes
- Make-up sits well the same evening
What is the Glow Refinement Ritual, and who is it for?
The Glow Refinement Ritual is an event session: a gentle refining step to smooth the surface, a long lifting massage through the cheeks and jaw, a sheet or cream mask, and a layered finish that leaves light sitting evenly rather than patchily across the face. It suits skin that is behaving well but looks flat in photographs, or anyone with a date in the diary who wants make-up to sit properly on the day.
It is a refinement, not a reset. If your skin is congested, book the Deep Cleanse Protocol first and keep this one for the week of the event — the two work best in that order, and your therapist will say so if you ask.
IN THE ROOM
What your visit looks like
- 01
The date in the diary
We ask what the session is for and when the event is, because the answer changes how firm the refining step is. A shoot tomorrow and a wedding in three weeks are two different sessions.
- Tell us the date — we work backwards from it
- 02
Cleanse and a light refining step
A double cleanse, then a short, mild refining pass to smooth the surface so light stops catching on dry patches. It stays on for minutes, not longer, and is rinsed on the first sign of tingling.
- 03
The long massage
Around twenty minutes of slow, upward work through the jaw, cheeks and brow, with attention to the places that hold a day of screens. This is the part guests remember.
- Firm but never uncomfortable — say the word and pressure changes
- 04
Mask, in the quiet
A sheet or cream mask chosen for how your skin feels that afternoon, left on for fifteen minutes with the lights low.
- 05
The layered finish
Thin layers rather than one thick one — the Korean habit that makes skin look lit from inside rather than coated. Sunscreen last, and you can put make-up on straight over it.

BEFORE YOU BOOK
Questions we hear most
Two to three days before is the sweet spot for a first time — it leaves room for skin to settle. If you have had this session before and know how your skin responds, the morning of is fine. For a wedding, book a trial at least three weeks ahead.
No. The refining step can tingle for a minute or two and is rinsed at the first sign of more than that. The massage is firm but should never be uncomfortable — tell your therapist and the pressure changes.
Most guests say the evenness holds for several days and the massage feeling for a day or so. This is a session for an occasion rather than a lasting change — we would rather be honest about that than sell you a course.
Yes — this is one of the few sessions designed for exactly that. Sunscreen goes on last and make-up sits over it. Guests often come in before dinner and go straight on.
Most brides book a trial around three weeks out and the real one two to three days before. If the skin needs cleansing work as well, that goes earlier still — ask us and we will map the dates with you.
Send us a photo first. Active congestion is usually better served by the Deep Cleanse Protocol, and the refining step here is not the right thing to put over sore skin. We will tell you honestly which one to book.
