What is the Microcurrent Lift, and who is it for?
The Microcurrent Lift uses a very low-level current, delivered through two smooth metal probes glided over conductive gel along the jawline, cheekbones and brow. It is worked slowly, section by section, for about forty minutes. Guests book it before an evening out, before photographs, or as a standing appointment for the definition it gives across a run of sessions.
Where honesty matters most: the crisp look after a single session is real but temporary, and typically fades over a few days. Anything more lasting comes from a run of sessions close together, and even then it is a look rather than a permanent change. Some people also cannot have this session at all — see the questions below before you book.

What your visit looks like

The safety questions, first
Pacemaker or implanted device, epilepsy, pregnancy, metal plates or pins in the face, recent injectables. Any yes changes the session or means we do not proceed, and we ask before you undress rather than after.

Cleanse and conductive gel
A double cleanse, then a clear water-based gel across the areas being worked. The gel is what lets the probes glide and keeps the sensation even — dry skin is what makes it prickle.

The current, section by section
Two probes are glided slowly along the jaw, then the cheekbones, then the brow, one side at a time. Around forty minutes in total. Most guests feel a faint tingle; some taste a slight metallic note, which is normal.

A cool mask
The gel comes off and a cool mask goes on for ten minutes while everything settles. No heat is involved at any point in this session.

Finish, and straight out
Moisturiser and sunscreen, and make-up if you brought it. There is no redness and nothing to avoid — guests routinely go straight to dinner.

Questions we hear most
Anyone with a pacemaker or other implanted electrical device, anyone with epilepsy, and anyone who is pregnant. Metal plates or pins in the face, and recent injectables, also need a conversation first. Tell us when you book rather than on the day — we would rather move you to another session than turn you away at the door.
No. Most guests feel a faint tingle, and some notice a slight metallic taste, which is normal and passes. Intensity starts low and only goes up if you say it is comfortable. If it prickles, that usually means the gel needs topping up.
After a single session, a few days. That is the honest answer, and anyone promising you months from one visit is overselling it. A run of weekly sessions holds noticeably longer, and a monthly session after that keeps it there.
The same day works well — there is no redness and nothing to recover from, which is unusual among device sessions. The day before is equally good if your schedule prefers it.
Tell us what you had and when. We generally ask for two weeks between injectables and this session, and we follow whatever your practitioner has advised over our own guideline.
Most guests do, particularly along the jaw. We hand you a mirror halfway through, with one side done and one side not, so you can judge it yourself rather than take our word for it.
