Contact the studio
Everything practical in one place — how to reach us, what to put in a first message, what happens when you arrive, and the questions guests usually ask before their first visit.
- Arrive ten minutes before your time
- One guest at a time in each room
What is the fastest way to reach NOMAD?
A message is faster than a call, because whoever can answer it properly is usually in a room with a guest. Send a short note with the days that suit you and a line about what your skin is doing, and we will come back with times and, where it matters, a suggestion about which protocol fits.
If your question is about whether something is suitable — sensitivity, pregnancy, a procedure you had elsewhere — ask it before you book rather than on arrival. It takes a minute to answer and it shapes the entire session.

THE FIRST FIFTEEN MINUTES
What happens when I arrive?
Nothing is rushed, and nothing is decided before we have looked.
- 01
You are shown somewhere quiet to sit
Arriving ten minutes early means you sit down rather than walk straight into a room. There is somewhere to leave a bag, and water if you would like it.
- Coming straight from work is completely normal
- 02
A short conversation, seated
Ten to fifteen minutes about your routine, your week and what you would like to feel afterwards. Your therapist looks at your skin in daylight before anything is chosen.
- Say now if you would prefer the room quiet
- 03
You change, in private
A wrap and headband are provided, along with fresh linens for every guest. Nothing you need to bring, and nowhere you need to hurry.
- Only what the protocol requires is uncovered
- 04
The session begins
Each step is named before it happens. Pressure and pace adjust the moment you say so, and anything can be paused. You leave with a written note.
- The note is sent to you as well, so it is not lost

When is the studio quietest?
Weekday mornings and early afternoons are the calmest hours to visit and the easiest to book at short notice. Weekends and the days before a public holiday fill first, so those are worth booking two to three days ahead — more if you have a particular therapist or a particular hour in mind.
If you are planning around an occasion, come five to seven days before it rather than the day before. That window is when skin looks its best after a session with any surface work in it.
PRACTICALITIES
Practical questions about visiting
Filter by topic, or search for what you need.
Sessions are booked rather than walk-in, because each room takes one guest at a time. If you are nearby and hoping for something today, message us — occasionally a slot opens, and we will tell you straight away either way.
Two to three days is usually enough for a weekday. Weekends, evenings and the days before a public holiday go earlier, so give those a little more notice.
Often, yes — tell us when you enquire and we will look at what can be arranged side by side. There is also seating outside the rooms if one of you would rather wait.
The address and map above are the studio's own listing — open the map link for turn-by-turn directions from wherever you are. If anything is unclear on the day, message us and someone will talk you the last part of the way.
Message us before you set off and we will tell you exactly where to leave a car and which entrance to use that day. It is quicker than guessing from a map, and it is the question we are asked most.
Tell us about any access needs when you book and we will describe the route in honestly, including anything that might be difficult, so you can decide before you travel rather than on the doorstep.
Message us. We will tell you honestly whether the full protocol still fits, or run a shorter version properly instead. A rushed session is worse than a shorter one.
The studio is built around quiet, so it is worth telling us in advance and we will find the time of day that works best. We would rather plan it with you than have you arrive worrying about it.
Yes — the gift cards page explains how they work. If you are buying one for someone whose skin you do not know, a consultation is the safest thing to give.
We do. Send us the rough shape of what you have in mind — how many people, roughly when, and whether it happens here or elsewhere — and we will tell you what is workable.
What every visit includes

PLACEHOLDER FOOTAGE
The pace you are booking
If you have not been before, this is the part that is hard to describe in a message. Placeholder footage while our own is filmed — but the tempo is the point, and it is the reason we ask for ten minutes of margin either side of your booking.
Placeholder footage — not filmed at NOMAD.
Send one message with the days that suit you. That is genuinely all a first booking takes — the rest is decided in the room, with you.
