Nomad Beauty & Skin Care — Korean Skin Care for Damansara
Further than it looks by road, and simpler than you would expect by rail — the Kajang Line runs from the Damansara stations all the way to Maluri without a change.
- Direct on the MRT Kajang Line
- No change of line
How do I get to NOMAD from Damansara?
The useful thing almost nobody realises: the MRT Kajang Line serves the Damansara stations at one end and Maluri at the other, so the whole journey is a single ride with no change at all. It is a long ride rather than a short one, but it is an easy one — you sit down at your end and stand up at ours, and Maluri's underground platforms open directly onto Jalan Cheras, which is the road the studio is on at number 290.
Driving is the alternative and it is the version that depends entirely on timing. Damansara to the Cheras side crosses the whole width of the city, so at six in the evening it is a long sit and at eleven in the morning it is unremarkable. Between the two options, guests who have tried both usually settle on the train for weekday appointments and the car at the weekend.
FROM DAMANSARA
Getting to the studio from Damansara
- 01
Onto the Kajang Line
Whichever of the Damansara stations is closest to you, board toward Kajang. That is the only direction decision in the whole trip.
- Toward Kajang, not toward Sungai Buloh
- 02
Stay on through the city
The line runs through the middle of town and out the other side. Do not change anywhere — Maluri is on this same line, and changing only makes the journey longer.
- 03
Out at Maluri
The platforms are built beneath Jalan Cheras, so you surface onto the road you want. The studio is a short walk along it, at number 290.
- Message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you which exit to use
- 04
Or drive, off-peak
By car you cross the full width of the city, so pick your hour deliberately. Weekend mornings and the middle of a weekday are both fine; six in the evening is not.
- 05
Parking at this end
Street parking on the roads around the studio, and the mall car parks at the Maluri interchange when it is busy. Ask before you set off and we will tell you which is easier that day.

What do guests from Damansara usually book?
Given the distance, the sensible pattern is fewer visits that do more, and that is what most Damansara guests land on — typically a facial with a device session or massage added, roughly every six weeks rather than every four. We will plan it that way from the start rather than quietly hoping you come more often than you realistically will.
That changes what happens at the end of a session. When the next visit is six weeks away, the written plan you leave with is doing more of the work than the session itself, so it gets more attention: what to use, what to stop, what order, and what to message us about instead of guessing. It also means we are more conservative about resurfacing — those sessions want a follow-up sooner, and if you cannot get back for two months we will usually suggest something else.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Questions from guests in Damansara
Yes, and it surprises most people: the MRT Kajang Line serves the Damansara stations and Maluri, so it is one ride with no change. Board toward Kajang and stay on. Maluri's platforms open straight onto Jalan Cheras, where the studio is.
Only you can judge that. What we can do is make each visit count: one longer session, planned around a six-week rhythm, with a detailed home routine to carry the gap. If you want something you can pop into weekly, we are honestly the wrong studio for your postcode.
Most guests from your side settle on about every six weeks, which is a little longer than our local guests. We plan for that openly — there is no point building a schedule around a frequency the drive makes unrealistic.
Yes, and from Damansara it is what we would suggest. Mention it when you book so the room is held long enough, and give yourself an unhurried few hours rather than squeezing it between two other things.
Probably not, and we will say so. Resurfacing works best light and frequent, with a follow-up a few weeks later. If two months is realistic for you, a hydration-led or barrier-first session gives you more for the trip.
No. There is one NOMAD, at 290 Jalan Cheras in Maluri. One room, one standard — which is the point of it, and the reason there is not a second.
