How do I get to NOMAD from Ampang?
The LRT does it in one. Maluri is a stop on the Ampang Line, the same line that runs out to Ampang itself, so the journey needs no change and very little thought. From Maluri station a covered walkway links across to the MRT side, and the MRT platforms are built directly beneath Jalan Cheras — which is the road the studio is on, at number 290 in Maluri.
By car it is a short run south, and unlike most of the city you are not crossing the centre to get here — both Ampang and Maluri sit on the eastern side. That makes this one of the few areas outside Cheras itself where a weekday evening appointment is genuinely practical, which in turn makes the light-and-frequent rhythm the Korean approach depends on actually achievable.
